AppFollow alternative

SonarTree vs AppFollow

A review-operations platform first and an ASO tool second: it consolidates ratings, reviews and replies across an unusually wide set of stores, with keyword tracking alongside.

How this was checked

SonarTree is our product, so treat this page as what it is. Every AppFollow figure below was read from https://appfollow.io/blog/new-plans-at-appfollow-and-how-to-choose-the-right-one on 2026-08-25. Anything AppFollow does not publish is marked “Not publicly listed” rather than guessed, and prices change, so check theirs before deciding. AppFollow's pricing table is rendered in the browser and did not return when we fetched the page server-side, so the figures here come from AppFollow's own plans announcement rather than from appfollow.io/pricing. Check the live pricing page before making a decision on these numbers.

What AppFollow does better

  • The widest store coverage on this page by a distance, including Microsoft, Samsung, Huawei, Trustpilot and Steam.
  • Unlimited users on every plan, where AppTweak and Mobile Action both cap the entry tier at one seat.
  • Review management is a genuine product rather than a feature, which matters if replying to reviews is a daily job for someone on your team.
  • 500 keywords on the entry tier, more than double SonarTree's Solo plan.

Where SonarTree fits instead

  • The free plan keeps 7 days of history, and the jump from the $19 ASO plan to the next tier is to $179/month, so there is no middle ground.
  • Download and revenue estimates are not something AppFollow advertises; if that is what you are shopping for, this is the wrong tool.
  • SonarTree is built around rank history and estimates rather than around a review inbox.

What the pricing table does not tell you

  • The gap between the $19 entry plan and the $179 Essential plan is the widest step on this page.
  • The published free plan keeps only 7 days of history.

The short answer

If reviews across many stores are the problem you are actually solving, AppFollow is the better tool and it is not close. If you want rank history and revenue estimates for an iOS app, it is aimed somewhere else.

SonarTree is pre-launch and does not accept public signups yet. The waitlist is the only way in, and every plan and limit is published before you join it.
